From the Meld Chat, each individual message displays a "delivery status" indicator. There are three different types of delivery status indicators: Unread, Delivery Failed, and Read including uniquely identified icons which are shown and discussed below.
The message has been sent successfully. This means that although emails and/or texts have been sent via Property Meld (depending on the recipients' notification preferences):
a) The emails have not been opened yet, and,
b) The text messages have not been delivered to a mobile phone yet.
2. Delivery Failed.
The message (mobile phone text or email) could not be successfully forwarded to the mobile phone number and/or email listed in that user's account at the time the message was created in Meld Chat.
The message has been viewed by the user in one or more of the following formats:
a) The user has signed into Property Meld via a web browser and accessed that Meld Chat
b) The user has received an SMS text message on their phone, see "Unread" above
c) The user has received and opened an email via their inbox.
Clicking any of these icons when they appear on a message will let you see exactly who is tied to that particular status.
- For scenarios where the user may have a valid phone number, but an invalid email address (or vice versa), you can assume the current message status the user has to be representative of the most recent interaction.
- If a user has all their Account Settings Notifications "Enabled" and has an invalid phone number but a valid email address, the message may show their specific icon as "Could Not Be Delivered". In this case, the email message was delivered, but not opened yet; and the associated text message wasn't delivered at all.
