Setting Emergency Contact information is recommended to provide your Tenants with the specific emergency handling protocol or specific information to be shared prior to the Tenant creating a Meld Request. This information can include what constitutes an emergency, emergency contacts, and charge implications for non-emergencies.
Examples of Emergency Contact and Information provides a guide for using Emergency Contact.
Click , click Account Settings, and click Emergency Contact. Enter the Emergency Contact Information to be presented the Tenant (shown in the screenshots below).
NOTE: Click the Provide tenants a link to this information check box to present this information to the Tenant. If this is not enabled, the Emergency Contact information will not be accessible by the Tenant when creating a Meld. This allows you to toggle Emergency Contact on and off while still storing the content.
As a result of entering the Emergency Contact information above and enabling the link, when the Tenant clicks on New Meld, a red banner appears at the top of the Meld.
When the Tenant clicks on the red banner titled If this is an emergency, please click here, a new window or tab is displayed with the Emergency Contact information.
