Property Groups allow the ability to segment off different aspects of your portfolio. Property Groups, for example, are grouped like this:
Property Groups allow you to assign different vendors AND/OR different staff members to different aspects of your portfolio. Let's assume the following scenario:
Jane Doe - Property Group A, Property Group B
Jill Johnson - Property Group B
John Smith - Property Group C
That means Jane Doe will receive notifications regarding repairs that are under Property Group A & B (Property 1, Property 2, Property 3, and Property 4). Jill will receive notifications only for Property Group B (Property 3 and Property 4). John will receive notifications for Property Group C (Property 5 and Property 6).
You can also limit vendors to only work on certain property groups as well. By default, all vendors can work on all groups.
